At different points of my youth, I wanted to be these: artist, author, actress, film director, psychologist. I saw later the common thread that interlaced these studies was the ability to capture the deeper meaning behind a story and interpret it in a way that resonated with different audiences. Human-centered design turned out to be the same instinct but just in a different font! I read behind the lines of what people actually need, and translate it into something they may use.
